This two days gorilla tracking safari starts in Kigali, leading you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla tracking and ends in Kigali City. This is an ideal Safari for people with busy work schedules or small budget travelers with a gorilla trekking dream – as Gorilla trekking is less costly in Uganda than in Rwanda. Day 1: Kigali City to Bwindi – Uganda
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by a tour guide from Adventure Trails who will welcome you. If time allows you may have a brief tour around Kigali City and a stop at the Genocide memorial.
Then, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Enjoying the scenic view of Kigezi highlands the beautiful mountainous curved landscape. The drive is likely to take 4 hours.
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast with packed lunch, transfer to the park headquarters were you will be briefed on how to behave while with the Mountain Gorillas and then begin the trail in search for the mighty Gorillas. Trekking is unpredictable, and may take 3 – 8hrs.
After your trekking experience, return to Kigali, and transfer to the airport for your evening flight back home.
