Review Requests
Welcome authors and publishers!! Thank you for your interest in Your Urban Fantasy.
I created this blog as a way to express my honest opinions about the books I read within this genre. I believe the title says it all when it comes to series I find appealing, though I do branch out to general sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian and paranormal romance stories. I prefer adult stories to YA, however I will read YA titles occasionally. My biggest exception is anything with a high school setting. They don’t keep my interest, which would probably not result in a favorable review.
Please expect an honest review. If I am not enjoying a book, I cannot guarantee I will finish the book. If I don’t I will say so in my review, or I will decline to review. While my reviews are honest and I may provide constructive criticism, I will not post a scathing review on this blog. In addition to this website, reviews may be posted to my Amazon and Goodreads accounts.
I cannot guarantee a timely review posting due to the length of my growing to-be-read pile, but I will try to keep it within 4 to 8 weeks. Believe me, I wish I had another pair of eyes so that I could read it all twice as fast, but alas…
If you would like for me to review a title, I accept paper copies, eBooks (kindle format or ePub only), ARCs and eARCs. I do not sell titles provided directly from authors and publishers; however, I do hold occasional giveaways where I bear all monetary expenses. Guest posts, blog tours, and sponsored giveaways are welcome. I am currently not accepting self-published works. Please let me know of your review specifications (ie: when and where to publish).
At the end of the day, the goal is to help spread the word about great series—old and new—that fans will enjoy. As an avid fan, I’m just trying to do my part. Over 1200 followers seem to appreciate that.

Umm, hi. I am so sorry to bother you with this, but I would like to ask if you review books which are not really published. As in, they are written on amateur writing websites. Would you be willing to review those?
